Reading alerts and acknowledging receipt

Open Alerts or Follow-up alerts. Read the title, message, student, time and priority; urgent items require prompt follow-up. Open details or the student link where available, then acknowledge that you have read the message. Reopen the page to check the acknowledgement. Reading an alert does not resolve the underlying issue; follow up with the school or guardian when necessary. Delivery depends on recipients, permissions and student scope. An empty inbox is not necessarily an error. Audible alerts also depend on browser permission.
