An asterisk marks a required field. Complete required values and review dates and relationships before saving. If validation fails, correct the highlighted field rather than submitting unchanged details again.

Select book, borrower type, borrower, loan date, and due date. Saving reduces availability. On return, use the return action and verify status and copies instead of creating another loan or rewriting the original history.
